Centennial Museum Exhibit

Throughout 2010, The University of Southern Mississippi will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of its legislative founding. In just 100 short years, Southern Miss has grown from a local teaching college into a nationally-known institution of higher learning that educates thousands of students at multiple locations every year. The Centennial museum will be a temporary exhibit which will be open from Feb. 1 – Dec. 31, 2010. It will feature historic memorabilia from Southern Miss’ last 100 years and provides a great look at the evolution of the institution over the last century. The exhibit is located on the first floor of Cook Library on the University of Southern Miss Campus. The Museum is open Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 1pm-6pm.
