Festival South is a two-week, internationally advertised, cultural-tourism and educational festival. The main components of the festival are public musical performances along with appropriate music-education institutes. The festival aspires to achieve an ever-expanding role as a major arts catalyst fro South Mississippi and the Southeastern region of the United States. The musical performances events for the general public are Symphonic Concerts, Stage Productions, Chamber Music, Jazz, Popular Music, Blues, Gospel, Bluegrass, and other types of musical events.
