Hattiesburg Concert Band Sunday, January 29th, 2012 - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm The Hattiesburg Concert Band returns to the Saenger stage for its 29th season. Conducted by Dr. Shermon Hong who has played professionally with Joffrey Ballet,as well as Symphonies, Operas, and Ballets in Mississippi and Mobile, the band consist of members from South Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana and represents a wide variety of professions. Showtime: 3 p.m. Free Admission.
Manifold Greatness Exhibit Sunday, January 29th, 2012 - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm The "Manifold Greatness: The Creation and Afterlife of the King James Bible," will be exhibited at the Sarah Gillespie Museum at William Carey University from January 19 to February 16. The opening reception will be on January 19 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Sarah Gillespie Museum. The exhibit will be available for viewing Monday - Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Black History Month Speaker at the African American Military History Museum Saturday, February 4th, 2012 - 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Each Saturday in February, be inspired by local African American Vietnam Veterans as they share personal stories in an intimate setting at the African American Military History Museum. The speaker series is part of a month-long commemoration of Black History Month.
