A symbol of beauty, elegance and Southern Miss heritage, the four-story Thad Cochran Center offers space to accommodate a variety of functions. The center boasts a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 900 or can be divided into three rooms, each accommodating 300. The facility also has 10 meeting rooms, two open pre-function areas and a technology atrium.

Built in 1910 in the Italian-Renaissance-style, the crowning jewel of the depot's 14,000 square feet of space is the Grand Ballroom. With the capacity to accommodate receptions or events for up to 400, the ballroom flows out to an open-air canopy, setting the stage for an unforgettable event.
