Hattiesburg is home to five community centers along with several outdoor, open-air spaces that can accommodate groups of all sizes. Each of the City’s centers has its own character, several of which are located in Hattiesburg’s Downtown and Historic districts. The Jackie Dole, C.E. Roy and Sigler Centers, along with the Historic Cultural Center and Hattiesburg Recreation Center, find themselves hosts to approximately 250,000 visitors each year.

With more than 120,000 square feet in the main arena, the Center can transform event space into the planner’s personal showplace. The main arena is capable of hosting concerts, rodeos and trade shows and offers stadium seating for more than 2,500, while the Extension Conference Center is ideal for receptions and reunion functions for up to 300 people. Adjacent is a 160-acre RV complex fully-equipped with 147 full-service sites.

With more than a decade of experience, the Lake Terrace Convention Center is the place for affordable meeting luxury. Located on a 32-acre park setting overlooking a 2-acre lake, the facility offers more than 68,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, which includes an exhibit hall, up to ten meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art conference room, 3 pre-function areas and several unique outdoor event spaces.

A symbol of beauty, elegance and Southern Miss heritage, the four-story Thad Cochran Center offers space to accommodate a variety of functions. The center boasts a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 900 or can be divided into three rooms, each accommodating 300. The facility also has 10 meeting rooms, two open pre-function areas and a technology atrium.

At the heart of the revival of Historic Downtown Hattiesburg sits an architectural gem - the newly renovated Historic Train Depot. Built in 1910 in the Italian-Renaissance-style, the crowning jewel of the depot's 14,000 square feet of space is the Grand Ballroom. With the capacity to accommodate receptions or events for up to 400, the ballroom flows out to an open-air canopy, setting the stage for an unforgettable event.
