Q: Where is the Hattiesburg Visitors Center located?
A: The Hattiesburg Visitors Center is conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate 59 and Highway 49. Motorists traveling on Interstate 59 can take Exit 67-A onto Highway 49 South. Upon entering Highway 49, merge over into the far left lane. At the first traffic light, turn left and proceed to the stop sign. At the stop sign, turn left until you reach the Visitors Center. The Hattiesburg Visitors Center neighbors the Lake Terrace Convention Center.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open Monday-Saturday 9-5. We are closed on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Q: Are there any attractions that I can bring my group to for free?
A: Yes. One of the advantages to bringing your group to Hattiesburg is the value – quality tours at little to no additional cost. For example, the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum, the African American Military History Museum and the historic Saenger Theater are just a few of the unique attractions that are also free!

From edibles, books, pottery and art to all things "Hattie," the Hattiesburg Visitors Center offers convenience and affordability when shopping for that special memento or keepsake.

Q: How do I make reservations to tour the attractions in Hattiesburg?

Q: Do you have an airport?
A: Yes. The Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport is located nine miles north of Hattiesburg. Northwest Airlink provides commercial service for travelers flying in or out of the airport. Hattiesburg is also an easy drive to major airports in Jackson, MS; Gulfport, MS; New Orleans, LA and Mobile, AL all within 1½ hours of Hattiesburg.
